The rebirth of La Trilogie de Maurienne

From origin to metamorphosis

Created 30 years ago, La Trilogie de Maurienne, a legendary cycle race held in the heart of La Maurienne, a land emblematic of cycling, with its many passes made famous by the Tour de France, has been reincarnated this year as the Gran Fondo Les Sybelles La Toussuire.

To mark this revival, the start of this world-renowned event will take place in La Toussuire.

The different routes

On 14 July 2024, you can choose between three different routes

The Tour des Sybelles

132km and 3,300m D+.

L’Arvan Villards

88km and 2,500m of climbing

Les Lacets de Montverniers

55km and 1,150m D+.

This cycle race is accessible to all levels, and depending on your preferences, you can take part in either a timed race or a tour.

Programme of the event

– Saturday 13th July

START VILLAGE – LA TOUSSUIRE
7:30am – 8:30am : Welcome, registration and number collection

– Sunday 14th July

START VILLAGE – LA TOUSSUIRE
7am – 9am : Welcome, registration and number collection
8 am : Start of the 132 km long course (time trial)
8:30am : Start of 88 km course (hike and time trial)
9am : Start of 52 km route (hike)
11 am : Arrival of the first competitors
1:30 pm : Meal and prize-giving ceremony

The start and finish of the various races take place in La Toussuire.

Bike week in La Toussuire

From 13 to 21 July 2024

Why not take advantage of this event to extend your stay in La Toussuire? As part of the Gran Fondo Les Sybelles La Toussuire event, we’re offering you a complete immersion in the world of cycling with a cycling-themed week! You’ll also have the chance to take part in other outings and cycle races, such as the climb up La Toussuire, the Col de la Croix de Fer, the Col de la Madeleine and the Col du Galibier!

Don’t panic, we’ve thought of everything! During this week, we have prepared a parallel programme for accompanying adults so that everyone can discover the richness of our region. The programme includes visits to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne and Valloire, guided walks and lots more!
