The talent incubator at La Toussuire
The Ski Club de la Toussuire aims to organise and supervise the training of young skiers with a view to their participation in competitions and their access to the highest level of skiing. It organises official international, national and regional alpine skiing competitions in collaboration with the various departments of the municipality. Finally, it aims to provide technical and logistical support to any operation requiring its skills.
Since its creation, the Ski Club has seen several champions emerge, including Germain Augert, René Collet, Jean-Pierre Augert, Jean-Noël Augert, Vanessa Vidal and Jean-Pierre Vidal, Olympic Champion in Salt Lake City in 2002.
