For over 26 years, the ESI – École de Ski Internationale de La Toussuire has been welcoming you in a friendly, family atmosphere to share the pleasure of skiing in complete freedom. On a human scale, the school focuses on quality teaching and personalised attention to make each session a unique experience.
From toddlers to adults, from curious beginners to experienced riders, take advantage of small groups, tailor-made lessons and a team of passionate, multilingual, state-certified instructors. At ESI, you can experience the sport in a different way, on your own or in a small group, learning, progressing and having fun in a warm and reassuring environment. For the little ones
The snowmen
For a first contact with the snow at the pace of toddlers, for a learning experience in complete serenity. The snowman groups welcome 5 children per instructor, from 2.5 to 3.5 years old.
We offer a range of packages to suit all requirements:
– In low season morning classes: 6 classes from 9am to 11am
– In high season morning classes: 6 classes from 9am to 11am or 11am to 1pm
A Free Mouse nursery option is also available for children aged 3 and over.
Mouse
This course is reserved for children aged 4 to 5 and a half, to enable them to gradually build up their confidence in the kindergarten and become independent on the first runs.
You’ll need a lift pass (free for children under 5) when you take to the slopes on Monday or Tuesday.
Mouse classes have a maximum of 5 students per instructor.
Several slots are available:
– In low season 6 morning lessons: lessons from 9am to 11am or 11am to 1pm depending on the schedule.
– In high season 6 lessons: 9am-11am or 11am-1pm or 1pm-3pm or 3pm-5pm.
An option with the Free Mouse nursery is also available.
Children’s classes from 6 to 12 years old
Our group lessons for children are designed to combine learning with fun. Each group is limited to a maximum of 8 pupils per instructor, without exception, whatever the period.
This organisation guarantees personalised supervision and confident progress.
Timetable and options for ESI children’s courses
Low season
Morning :
– 6-day package: Sunday to Friday
→ 9am to 11am or 11am to 1pm (depending on schedule)
In high season
Morning :
– 6-day package: Sunday to Friday, 9am to 11am
– 6-day Prestige package:
→ Sunday to Wednesday from 11am to 1pm
→ Thursday and Friday from 11am to 3pm, with meal included at the restaurant on the slopes (€30 value, included in the price)
Afternoon:
– 4-day package: Sunday to Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm.
– 6-day package: Sunday to Friday from 3pm to 5pm.
Full day: 6-day package (morning + afternoon) → 10% discount on the total.
Free Mouse club
Because holidays should also mean peace of mind, ESI has created the Free Mouse package.
Before and/or after ski lessons, your children will be looked after at the “La Ruche” children’s club in the Children’s Centre.
From age 3 upwards, there are several options available:
Half-day or full day, with or without lunch.
Journeys between the club, the slopes and the kindergarten are guaranteed:
a real time-saver for you, and fun in complete safety for your children.
How do I reserve a place in the Free Mouse club?
The Free Mouse package cannot be booked online. To book, simply fill in the registration form, print it out and send it by e-mail or post.
Ski lessons for all ages!
The International Ski School at La Toussuire offers group lessons designed for all ages and levels:
– Toddlers: from 2.5 to 5 years old
– Children: 6 to 12 years
– Teenagers: from 13 to 17 years old
– Adults: over 18
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skier, you’ll join a group adapted to your experience and pace. Progressive, fun learning, combining technique and fun on the slopes!
