Bastien Flammier has just finished a bi-qualified vocational diploma in plumbing and mountains at the Lycée des Métiers de la Montagne in Saint Michel de Maurienne. In parallel, he is a trainee mountain leader. From the start of the next school year, he will be enrolling in a DEUST (Diploma of Advanced Studies) in leadership and management of physical, sporting and cultural outdoor activities in Le Bourget du Lac.
He has been competing in sports for four years and is now an international ski mountaineer. He joined the French youth team this winter. He was able to participate in the World Cup circuit and compete against the world’s best in his discipline. During the summer period, he devotes most of his time to physical preparation for the winter season. He also participates in a few sportive cyclos and trails to keep up with the competition.
