The great Arvan tour

Inspired by the "Arvan-Villards" cyclosportive, this circuit passes through the authentic villages of Jarrier, Les Bottières, Foncouverte, Saint-Jean-d'Arves, Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves and Albiez-Montrond, in the heart of stunning scenery and a rich local heritage.
This route circles the Arvan valley without crossing any major passes, but nevertheless requires a good level of fitness. Road conditions are average, and traffic levels vary according to the season.
Water and refreshment points are available in every village. The nearest repair shops are in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, La Toussuire and Albiez-Montrond.
Along the way, you'll enjoy remarkable scenery and panoramic views, particularly of the Aiguilles d'Arves. Each commune you pass through reveals its own treasures, whether baroque, gastronomic or artisanal.
