Pedestrian ski lifts

Want to get some height without skiing? It's possible! At La Toussuire, two lifts are open to pedestrians: the Tête de Bellard chairlift and the Côte du Bois gondola.
Tête de Bellard chairlift:
The Tête de Bellard chairlift climbs to an altitude of 2,225m. At the top, you can enjoy a hike along the ridges. You'll also have access to a high-altitude restaurant where you can enjoy our magnificent panoramas over a good meal.

To get to the Tête de Bellard chairlift: take the road alongside the SOREMET ski lift building on the snow front, to the right of the Ravières chairlift. Go up to the end of the road where the Grande Verdette residence is located. The chairlift is just beyond.

Côte du Bois cable car :

Our brand new cable car is open to pedestrians. Please note that once you reach the top, you can't hike to the top - you'll have to take the gondola back down. However, picnic tables will be available for you to admire the view.

Please note

Dogs are not allowed on the lifts or in the ski area.
Babies under the age of one are not allowed on the ski lifts. It is too dangerous for their eardrums.
Sledges are also prohibited.
