Free discovery of the capital of Piedmont, made famous by the 2006 Winter Olympics. Turin is known for its refined architecture and gastronomy. Baroque buildings and old Cafés line the boulevards as well as large squares, such as Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo. Nearby is the slender arrow of the Mole Antonelliana, symbol of the city that houses the Museum of Cinema with its panoramic elevator; a little further the Egyptian museum or the Royal Palace, former residence of the Savoyard family in Piedmont.
