From Le Corbier to La Toussuire

Would you like to visit La Toussuire or Le Corbier? Why not do it on foot? This itinerary means you don't have to take the main road, and you can enjoy the sunshine and uninterrupted views over the valley!
When should you go?
If it's very hot, it's best to set off in the morning, as this route faces due south and trees are few and far between.

Itinerary :
1- This short hike starts from the Tourist Office of Le Corbier.
2- Go down the metal stairs next to the YETI restaurant, then cross the road. The path goes down along the equestrian centre. After it, turn to the left, following the direction "La Toussuire" up to the wooden bridge.
3- At the next intersection, go up to the left following "Plan Chaud". On the "Plan chaud", take the path towards "D'en Bas la Sellière" and follow the ridge line with view on the village of Villarembert and its hamlets. At the La Sellière crossroads, rejoin the road and head towards La Toussuire, as far as the Tourist Office.
4 - From the Tourist Office in La Toussuire, take the road on the left up to the doctor's surgery, then turn right towards Comborsière. At the Hôtel de Comborsière, turn left after 500 m and take the mown path down to the Ruisseau de Garney.
5 - Turn left onto the path known as "Des Envers", which joins the main road. Follow the road to the right to return to Le Corbier. You can also take the free Le Corbier / La Toussuire shuttle train to Le Corbier and back. Check the timetable on our website, at the bus stops or in the tourist offices.

With a little detour, you can access the "Randos de Max": Max and the paragliding stone! Booklet available from the Tourist Office.
