Cyclists are expected at Vulco in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne at 9am for a friendly coffee reception, before setting off for the Col de la Croix de Fer, at their own pace and in the company of their guides.
An early start for a legendary climb as part of Cyclo Week!
Rendezvous at Vulco in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne at 9am for a friendly coffee reception before setting off in the direction of the Col de la Croix de Fer (2,067 m), accompanied by your guides.
On the programme: 66 km and 1,807 m of ascent, a demanding but accessible outing for everyone at their own pace.
There will be a refreshment stop at the summit, before heading back down to Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves, where the guides will be waiting for you on foot as part of the supervised hike.
On site, the Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves Tourist Office will be delighted to welcome you for a friendly drink in a warm mountain atmosphere.
You're free to enjoy your lunch break: picnic or eat in, as you wish.
