As part of Cyclo Week, enjoy a cultural day out in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, departing by bus at 9am from La Toussuire Tourist Office. Arrival at 9.45am.
The Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne Tourist Office will give you a warm welcome on arrival. Then, make your own way to the Chapelle Bonne-Nouvelle, where Emma, the tour guide, will be waiting for you.
She will also show you the treasures of the Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste and share some local history with you. The tour continues at your leisure with a visit to the Opinel museum, a must-see for those curious about Savoyard crafts (free admission).
Return by bus from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne at 4pm, arriving in La Toussuire at around 4.45pm.
