Stage : Voix et interprétation - Spectacle Est Dans La Rue_La Toussuire
Daily 1½-hour workshops focusing on polyphonic singing, improvisation, rhythm and soundpainting. A friendly course designed to foster the joy of singing together, build vocal confidence and encourage collective creativity.
The course runs for one week, from Monday to Friday: we’ll be meeting for several daily workshops lasting 1 hour 30 minutes each, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
On the programme:
- Working on multi-part singing (polyphony): songs, circle songs, improvisation
- Exploring rhythm, listening and pitch accuracy
- An introduction to and practice of soundpainting (a gestural language for group improvisation)
- Using the voice in public spaces, in keeping with the spirit of the festival
Objectives:
- To develop a love of singing together
- To build vocal confidence
- To experiment with collective creation
- To culminate in a convivial performance at the end of the workshop
The workshop is open to participants of all levels, with no prerequisites – all you need is a desire to sing and share.
Friday 14 August, 6.30 pm: Performance, for those who wish to take part, during the festival’s closing cabaret.
