Country Challenges – 15 August

An ‘Intervilles’-style event featuring traditional team challenges: woodchopping, Reblochon cheese throwing, arm wrestling and hammer and log. Four challenges combining strength, skill, strategy and precision for two hours of fun and camaraderie in small groups.
Four fun and original challenges inspired by traditional contests, to be tackled as a team.


Strength challenge:
Sawing through a tree trunk like a lumberjack, requiring strength and good coordination.


Skill challenge:
Throwing Reblochon cheeses, to test accuracy and control.


Strategy challenge:
Arm-wrestling tables: two participants face each other, hand-to-hand, and try to force their opponent’s arm down until it touches the table, without injuring them.


Precision challenge:
Hammer and block: in turn, participants must drive a nail into a piece of wood using a hammer. A duel combining strength and strategy, won by the first to drive the nail all the way in.
