Inspired by South American and tropical music, the 7 illuminated members of Sopa Loca spice up their repertoire with a variety of influences. Punctuated by offbeat choreography and burlesque situations.
Sopa: n.f. French for "soup": a blend of sultry traditional music spiced with cosmic influences.
Loca: qual. adj. In French "fou": euphoric, antidepressant.
In "Calle Loca", the ensemble re-orchestrates cumbias, rumbas, dansons and salsas, spicing them up with unusual musical trends (reggaeton, hip-hop, rock, disco, etc.).
