A moment tolive life to the full
Temperatures are gradually dropping, the days are getting shorter and the mountains are taking on a new look. The flora bursts into colour one last time before settling down for the winter, adorning the landscape with shades of gold, orange and crimson. Take in the view from above and admire this colourful spectacle, where the peaks are silhouetted against a soft, warm light.
In the mountain pastures, the herds are gradually making their way back down to the valley, leaving behind the vast high-altitude expanses that are preparing to welcome the first snows. The mountains slow down, regain their tranquillity and invite you to make the most of the last of the fine days.
Grab your basket and let yourself be guided along the paths carpeted with leaves. Breathe in the scents of firs, larches and the still-damp undergrowth. As you round a bend in the path, keep your eyes peeled: you might come across a few mushrooms or find some lovely chestnuts to gather.
Autumn is a season when we take the time to look, breathe and savour. A season for walking, exploring, feasting and simply enjoying the mountains before they don their white coat.
The mountains are slowing down… why not take the time to slow down with them?
