Fancy an unforgettable adventure? Take to the heights with Étoiles & Toiles and spend a night camping amongst the peaks. An immersive experience where you’ll discover the mountains in a whole new light, amidst breathtaking scenery, moments of camaraderie and the magic of the stars.

The camping spirit without the constraints

Why not head up into the mountains for a unique experience in the heart of the mountains? With Étoiles & Toiles, leave the daily grind behind and set off for a night’s camping at an altitude of 2,200 metres, in an unspoilt setting where nature, silence and the stars reign supreme.

Conceived by the La Toussuire Tourist Office, in partnership with the Bureau Montagne Arvan, this 24-hour adventure invites you to discover the mountains in a different light, far from the hustle and bustle, and as close as possible to the essentials.

An experience turnkey

To ensure you get the most out of this adventure, everything has been organised:

Guidance from a qualified mountain guide for 24 hours.
Camping equipment provided: tent, sleeping bag and inflatable mat.
Afternoon snack, dinner and breakfast included.
An Opinel picnic kit is provided to each participant.

The mountain tells its story with every step

The adventure begins at 2 pm with a guided hike through the iconic landscapes of our mountains.

Led by Lionnel Bonnel, a leading figure in trail running and a true enthusiast of the region, you’ll discover the mountains in a whole new light. As you follow the marked trails, he’ll share his knowledge, anecdotes and the stories that bring these landscapes to life.

Wildlife, flora, heritage, local legends… every stage becomes an opportunity to observe, learn and marvel at the beauty of the peaks.

Experience the mountains at in its raw state

As the day draws to a close, the camp is set up against a breathtaking backdrop. Time slows down, the light changes and the mountains reveal a whole new side to themselves.

Over a warm and friendly meal featuring a croziflette, conversations flow in a simple and authentic atmosphere. Then comes one of the highlights of the experience: night falls, the peaks gradually fade from view and the sky unveils a spectacular display of stars.

Far from the city lights, enjoy a rare moment when nature takes centre stage once more.

Stars a feast for the eyes

Sleeping at high altitude, listening to the silence of the mountains, gazing at the stars… this night spent camping is a real invitation to switch off.

When you wake up, enjoy breakfast with views of the Alpine landscape before leisurely making your way back. One last walk to savour this break before arriving in La Toussuire at around midday.

An experience that leaves you with much more than just a picture: memories, emotions and a whole new way of seeing the mountains.
