‘The Show is in the Street’ Festival

Throughout the week, experience the festival at your own pace and enjoy a varied programme, designed for audiences of all ages.

Every day, there will be two free performances on offer, giving you the chance to discover surprising artistic worlds and share moments of conviviality.

Fancy taking it a step further? Take part in the workshops organised throughout the week, covering a range of themes, to get started, improve your skills or simply enjoy a new experience.

Themed workshops will also take place throughout the festival, offering you the chance to discover new art forms in a fun and accessible way.

Finally, take the time to wander around the festival village, a real hub for meeting people and sharing experiences. There you’ll find a refreshment bar, a photo exhibition, a second-hand clothes shop and wooden games for young and old alike.

That’s the challenge the team behind the ‘Le Spectacle Est Dans La Rue’ festival is setting itself once again for this 10th edition!

Sanké (‘roots’ in the Susu language) is a show born out of the collaboration between six artists from Guinea and Latin America. Through acrobatic performances blending traditional and contemporary styles, they explore their identities, their differences and the bonds that unite them. Combining energy, poetry and humour, this collaborative production takes the audience on a sensitive journey exploring roots, living together and transcending boundaries.

The cobblestones glisten beneath his groovy vinyl records. An evening of swaying hips is what this glitter-covered DJ promises. A dance-filled DJ set is guaranteed for the opening of a festival like this one, high up!

Girostatus is a street circus show in which Brunitus transforms the diabolo into a virtuoso, poetic and interactive performance, driven by infectious energy.

An ordinary employee is given a task that is, to say the least, unexpected: to become… a human cannonball. Enthusiastic but completely inexperienced, he follows the instructions diligently before being confronted with the unpredictable, the gaze of the audience… and the merciless laws of gravity.

Blending theatre, circus and slapstick humour, this show tenderly explores our failures, our doubts and our ability to carry on despite it all. A funny and touching fable that celebrates those ‘magnificent losers’ that we sometimes are.

V.O.G.O.T. is a production that blends dance, physical theatre and acrobatic lifts in a form of physical expression that is as unique as it is universal. Through a sensitive choreography inspired by the five senses, a man and a woman explore their relationship, built on trust, intimacy, tension and balance.

Striking a balance between strength and delicacy, this duo delivers an intense and poetic performance in which movement becomes a true means of communication, inviting the audience to feel rather than to hear.

L’Ombre des Oiseaux is a street acrobatics duo in which balance, shared experience and connection unfold several metres above the ground.

Seated around a simple open-air café table, two men learn to coexist in a precarious paradise. Through spectacular lifts, humour and poetry, they transform their differences into an adventure that is as funny as it is dizzying. A sensitive production in which acrobatics becomes the language of trust and living together.

Four eccentric characters celebrate the joy of life in a world marked by violence, through a biting satire of power relations and domination. Combining juggling, object manipulation and boundless energy, they create a burlesque world driven by humour that is both scathing and deeply liberating.
