From what age can you take part in the Rallye Gourmand?

The Rallye Gourmand is suitable for children aged 7 and over . The route is 13.4 km long with 600 m of elevation gain (D+). It therefore requires a good level of fitness and is suitable for children who are used to walking . Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the route.

Pets on a lead are permitted, provided that other participants are respected and the rules of the sites visited are followed.

What do I need to plan for?

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking, protect yourself from the sun (cap, sun cream) and bring a water bottle.

Are vegetarian or gluten-free meals available?

Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available for the Savoyard meal. To take advantage of these, simply let the staff at the stand know when the meal is being served.

Will the event go ahead if it rains?

Unless there are exceptional weather conditions that could jeopardise the safety of participants, the Rallye Gourmand will go ahead as planned. Please remember to wear suitable clothing.

Is registration compulsory?

Yes, registration is compulsory. As the number of participants is limited, booking is essential to secure your place and avoid any unpleasant surprises on the day of the event. We recommend that you register as soon as possible so that you can make the most of this gourmet day.

Is it compulsory to come in fancy dress?

No, fancy dress isn’t compulsory. Everyone is free to take part however they like. However, coming in fancy dress adds an extra touch of fun to the event! And for the more creative among you, there’ll be a prize for the three best costumes.

This year, the event is taking on a whole new festive dimension!
As well as the sporting challenges and the hike, all participants are invited to come in fancy dress to add even more fun and good cheer to the day.
Whether you’re wearing an original, funny, quirky or completely out-of-the-ordinary costume, let your imagination run wild and dare to stand out on the trails!
And because a great fancy dress outfit deserves to be rewarded, a special prize will be awarded to the participant wearing the best costume at the event.

Start your walk on a gentle note with a tasty first stop. On the menu: delicious pastries served with a hot coffee or tea to top up your energy levels before setting off to explore the trails and flavours of the mountains.

STAND 2 DELICATESSEN PRODUCTS Bergerie de l’Étoile

2.3 km – 97 m ascent / 36 m descent

La Bergerie de l’Étoile is a small-scale producer renowned for its expertise and the quality of its products, which are based on local traditions. At this stall, it offers a selection of carefully prepared charcuterie, showcasing authentic recipes and a respect for the ingredients.

STAND 3 BEAUFORT CHEESE Co-operative cheese dairy – Les Producteurs Savoyards

3.7km – 104m ascent / 178m descent

One of the Maurienne Valley’s must-see attractions: the iconic Beaufort! At this stall, you can discover and savour this pressed cheese, renowned for its unrivalled flavour. Showcased by our local co-operative, which prioritises short supply chains, it forges a direct link between producers, locals and visitors.

STAND 4 Biscuits Orset House

6 km – 131 m ascent / 337 m descent

For this latest edition of the Rallye Gourmand, Biscuiterie Orset will be at its stand to introduce you to its delicious specialities. A wonderful opportunity to take a tasty break and savour the expertise of this biscuit maker, in a friendly and festive atmosphere!

STAND 5 SAVOYARD MEAL Happy’Curiens

7.9 km – 136 m ascent / 529 m descent

Happy’Curien showcases hearty, convivial cuisine inspired by the Savoy region. Based in Épierre, this passionate caterer offers gourmet creations prepared with care, inviting you to discover local flavours whilst enjoying a moment of togetherness and authenticity.

STAND 6 GOAT’S CHEESE Savoué Goat Farm

9.1 km – 216 m elevation gain / 545 m elevation loss

The Savoué Goat Farm celebrates the Savoy goat, a rare and distinctive Alpine breed perfectly suited to mountain life. Its rich, fragrant milk is used to make authentic farmhouse cheeses with unique flavours, directly inspired by the pastures of Savoy.

STAND 7 Sorbets Tourist Office

10.5 km – 301 m ascent / 558 m descent

Stop off at the Granités stall run by the Tourist Office and treat yourself to a delicious and refreshing break!

Two flavours await to quench your thirst and restore your energy in a summery atmosphere. Savour a nice, cold granité and make the most of the day!

STAND 8 BEERS Jananka Brewery

12 km – 490 m ascent / 558 m descent

Jananka Brewery brews craft beers inspired by the mountain landscape and the Savoyard terroir. Founded by Anthony, this family-run microbrewery passionately crafts original recipes: light lager, amber ale, IPA and even a peppery wheat beer. Made using carefully selected ingredients and water sourced from the Alps. A welcoming stop to discover local brewing expertise and share an authentic experience whilst enjoying distinctive flavours. Fruit juices are also available for children and for those who prefer not to drink alcohol.

STAND 9 MATAFANS Noël Champnier

13.3 km – 551 m ascent / 558 m descent

To round off the La Toussuire Gourmet Rally on a sweet note, treat yourself to a truly comforting delicacy: Christmas Matafans. This traditional Savoyard speciality, prepared right before your eyes, is enjoyed like a thick, fluffy crêpe – simple yet generous – evoking all the warmth and conviviality of winter afternoon teas in the mountains. A warm and sweet final stage, perfect for rounding off the route on an authentic and indulgent note, immersed in the flavours of Savoie.

THE CHALLENGES OF THE GOURMET RALLY

Gymkhana

A timed challenge to test your agility and sense of balance on a fun and dynamic course. With obstacles and technical bends to navigate, the gymkhana demands speed, precision and control. A challenge open to everyone, ideal for pushing yourself to new limits in a fun and friendly atmosphere!

Slalom

Navigate a series of technical sections and find the perfect line!
The slalom will put your coordination and speed to the test on a fast-paced, challenging course. Every second counts when it comes to clocking the fastest time and rising to the challenge in style.

Laser biathlon

This event combines precision and concentration, so you’ll need to keep your cool and hit all the targets. Be careful – if you miss one or more targets, you’ll be given penalties!

Steep climb

The ultimate challenge for the most determined riders!
The timed steep climb pushes participants to give their absolute best on an intense, fast ascent. Pacing, power and mental strength will be key to reaching the summit in the fastest time.
