The Sybelles ski area links five ski resorts in the Maurienne region (Savoie): La Toussuire, Le Corbier, Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves, Saint-Jean-d’Arves and Les Bottières.

How does the ski lift system work at Les Sybelles®?

You can travel between the resorts entirely on skis via the ridges. The central hub of the ski area is the Pointe de l’Ouillon (2,431 m), which allows you to move easily from one resort to another using the ski lifts.

What is the maximum altitude of the Sybelles ski area?

The highest point accessible on skis in Les Sybelles is at an altitude of 2,620 metres, at the top of the slopes in the Cime de la Balme area (Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves), just below the Étendard glacier.

How is skiing guaranteed in Les Sybelles?

A network of snow-making machines covers nearly half the total area of the ski resort, ensuring that skiing is possible throughout the resort’s opening season.

Is the Sybelles® ski area suitable for beginners?

Yes, the resort is ‘Blue Friendly’, offering a blue run option at the start of every run. La Toussuire also has beginners’ areas where you can start learning to ski, including the Zone des Lutins, which has two free magic carpets, and a snow park with two ski lifts at a single price, so you can learn at your own pace.
