The 4th edition of the Rallye Gourmand in La Toussuire: a fun, family-friendly foodie hike! A 13.8km route with 677 metres of elevation gain.
Do you enjoy Savoyard cuisine? Do you enjoy hiking? Then this event is sure to appeal to you… A route taking in the various hamlets, with refreshment stops roughly every 1.5 km… all featuring local produce.

As well as the sporting challenges and the hike, all participants are invited to come in fancy dress to make the day even more fun and cheerful.
Whether you’re wearing a costume that’s original, funny, quirky or completely out of the ordinary, let your imagination run wild and dare to stand out on the trails!
And because a great costume deserves to be rewarded, a special prize will be awarded to the participant wearing the best costume at the event.

THE STANDS
STALL 1 – BAKERY ITEMS – COFFEE
1.5km – 17D+ / 83D-
Start the walk on a gentle note with a stop at the first pastry stall and a hot coffee to give you a boost of energy!
STALL 2 – DELICATESSEN
3km – 20m elevation gain / 220m elevation loss
Producer: Bergerie de l’Étoile
La Bergerie de l’Étoile is a small-scale producer renowned for its expertise and the quality of its products, which are rooted in local traditions. At this stall, it offers a selection of carefully prepared charcuterie, showcasing authentic recipes and a respect for the ingredients.
STALL 3 – BEAUFORT CHEESE
4.2km – 72m elevation gain / 342m elevation loss
One of the must-see attractions in the Maurienne Valley is the iconic Beaufort! At this stall, you can discover and savour this hard cheese, renowned for its unrivalled flavour. Showcased by our local cooperative, which prioritises short supply chains, it creates a direct link between producers, locals and visitors.
STALL 4 – OPEN SANDWICHES
5km – 75m elevation gain / 406m elevation loss
Producer : Conserverie des Alpes
La Conserverie des Alpes showcases the authentic flavours of the mountains through traditional recipes inspired by the Savoy region. Soups, terrines, ready meals and local specialities are prepared with care to preserve the taste and quality of Alpine produce. Come and discover their spreads with their unique flavours at this stand!
STALL 5 – SAVOYARD MEAL
6.3km – 90m elevation gain / 490m elevation loss
Caterer: Happy’Curiens
Happy’Curien specialises in hearty, convivial cuisine inspired by the Savoy region. Based in Épierre, this passionate caterer offers gourmet creations prepared with care, inviting guests to discover local flavours through a shared experience full of authenticity.
STALL 6 – GOAT’S CHEESE
8 km – 297 m elevation gain / 83 m elevation loss
Producer: Savoué Goat Farm
La Chèvrerie de Savoué showcases the Savoie goat, a rare and distinctive Alpine breed perfectly suited to mountain life. Its rich, aromatic milk is used to produce authentic farmhouse cheeses with unique flavours, directly inspired by the pastures of Savoie.

Producer: Jananka Brewery
Jananka Brewery brews craft beers inspired by the mountain landscape and the Savoyard terroir. Founded by Anthony, this family-run microbrewery passionately crafts original recipes: light lager, amber ale, IPA and even a peppery wheat beer. All made using carefully selected ingredients and water sourced from the Alps. A friendly stop to discover local brewing expertise and share an authentic experience centred on distinctive flavours. Fruit juices are also available for children and for those who do not wish to drink alcohol.
STALL 9 – MATAFANS
13.3 km – 620 m elevation gain / 620 m elevation loss

To round off the La Toussuire Gourmet Rally on a sweet note, treat yourself to a truly comforting delicacy: Christmas Matafans. This traditional Savoyard speciality, prepared right before your eyes, is enjoyed like a thick, fluffy crêpe – simple yet generous – evoking all the warmth and conviviality of winter afternoon teas in the mountains. A warm and sweet final stop, perfect for ending the tour on an authentic and indulgent note, immersed in the flavours of Savoie.
THE CHALLENGES OF THE GOURMAND RALLY IN LA TOUSSUIRE
Throughout the day, you’ll be invited to test your skills in a series of timed challenges organised by the ESF and the ESI. Prizes await the fastest participants across all four events!
Gymkhana
Une épreuve chronométrée, pour tester votre agilité et votre sens de l’équilibre à travers un parcours ludique et dynamique. Entre obstacles, virages techniques, le gymkhana demande rapidité, précision et maîtrise. Un challenge accessible à tous, idéal pour se dépasser dans une ambiance fun et conviviale !
Slalom
Navigate the technical sections and find the perfect line!
The slalom will put your coordination and speed to the test on a fast-paced, challenging course. Every second counts as you aim for the best time and take on the challenge in style.
Biathlon laser
This event combines precision and concentration, so you need to stay calm and hit all the targets. Be careful – if you miss one or more targets, you’ll be given penalties!
Steep climb
The ultimate challenge for the most determined!
The timed sprint climb challenges participants to give their all on a fast-paced, intense ascent. Pacing, power and mental strength will be key to reaching the summit in the fastest time.
