This year, the ‘Le Spectacle Est Dans La Rue’ Festival will take place from Sunday 9 to Friday 14 August 2026
Created in 2017, the Le Spectacle Est Dans La Rue festival is a whole week dedicated to the circus arts and street performances. Organised by Dos Mundos del Arte. The aim of this week is to revive live performance and make the world of art and the circus accessible to as many people as possible. ‘Connection’ is also the festival’s watchword. In a world where all our connections are made through networks and screens, we invite you to switch off and experience some truly unique moments filled with laughter, joy, wonder and togetherness – the festival has everything you could wish for!

What if thinking together also meant walking together?
Mélo offers a unique experience, blending rap, free-flowing speech and socially conscious reflection : an intimate walking talk in the heart of the countryside.
As the walk progresses, words take shape, topics unfold and minds are opened.

Musical siesta
Monday 10 and Thursday 13 August – 2 pm
Genre : Relaxation
Music can convey so much. Here, the aim is clear: to lull you into a soothing slumber!
Here, clapping is forbidden, but we’re allowed to snore!

Workshops
Throughout the festival, there will be a range of workshops on a wide variety of topics: juggling, acrobatics, theatre, clowning and much more! This is your chance to explore these different art forms – and who knows, you might even discover a new passion. So which workshop(s) take your fancy?

This workshop combines dance, singing and drama, offering participants the chance to explore different ways of conveying a message based on a written or borrowed text. Everyone is encouraged to develop their own creative world and to express themselves freely, drawing on all forms of expression.

Juggling – contact ball
An introductory workshop to contact ball, suitable for beginners, designed to help you discover the basics (rolling, balancing, isolations) through fun exercises. It offers an opportunity to explore your body, develop new sensations and acquire the skills needed to practise independently. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring something to write with.
From 10 years old / max. 25 people
There is a fee of €20 per workshop; this is a flat rate. Places are limited – booking is essential.
Weekly courses
In addition to the workshops, the Spectacle Est Dans La Rue festival also offers “week-long courses”. Sign up for a course theme and then every day from Monday to Friday explore your theme in different workshops.

African dance
11.00 am to 12.30 pm – From 7 years old
Led by Karim Konaté, founder of the Compagnie Djellia and heir to a long line of Burkinabe griots, this workshop offers an immersive experience of traditional West African dance. Open to all with no prior experience required, it invites participants to connect with themselves, others and a culture shaped by Mandinka rhythms.
Places are limited to a maximum of 20 people

Taï-Chi
9.30am to 11am – Open to all
Derived from martial arts, tai chi is a physical discipline that forms part of the energy exercises practised in traditional Chinese medicine.
No limit on places

Circus arts
9.30am to 11am – From 6 years old
Explore the world of the circus through a range of workshops! On the programme: acrobatics, juggling, balancing acts and much more!
Places are limited to a maximum of 20 people

Vocal technique and performance
11.00 am to 12.30 pm – From 6 years old
A number of daily 90-minute workshops are offered in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, focusing on polyphonic singing, improvisation, rhythm and soundpainting. This course encourages participants to develop a love of singing together, vocal confidence and collective creativity, culminating in a shared final performance.
The course package costs €100 for five sessions. There is also a family package: €90 for the second person and €80 for each additional person from the third onwards. Exception for Taï-Chi courses: €10 for membership, then free participation for payment (by the hat).
THE SHOWS
Throughout this week, the ‘Le Spectacle Est Dans La Rue’ festival invites you to enjoy two shows a day, completely free of charge! A sense of wonder, emotion, poetry and laughter await, taking you on a journey with the performers. The first performance starts at 5.30 pm, followed by the second at 8.30 pm.

Using nothing more than a simple diabolo, Girostatus presents a captivating street circus show. With over 25 years of experience, Brunitus blends humour, poetry and virtuosity to transform movement into an energy shared with the audience. A captivating and interactive performance, where passion becomes contagious and every show is a vibrant experience.

That is the challenge the team behind the “Le Spectacle Est Dans La Rue” festival has set itself once again for this 10th edition!


Sanké – 8pm
Genre: A fusion of acrobatics and dance
Sanké (‘roots’ in the Susu language) is a show born out of the collaboration between six artists from Guinea and Latin America. Through acrobatic performances that blend traditional and contemporary styles, they explore their identities, their differences and the bonds that unite them. Combining energy, poetry and humour, this collaborative production invites the audience on a sensory journey exploring roots, living together and transcending boundaries.
DJ Mac Bouille – 9.30 pm
Genre: DJ set
The cobblestones glisten beneath his groovy vinyl records. This glitter-covered DJ promises a night of swaying hips. A dance-filled DJ set is guaranteed for the opening of a festival like this one, high up in the air!

MONDAY 10th AUGUST

Girostatus is a street circus show in which Brunitus transforms the diabolo into a virtuoso, poetic and interactive performance, driven by infectious energy.
Les Pondarmes – 5:30pm
Genre : Cirque musical et burlesque
Born out of an unlikely merger between firefighters and police officers, Les Pondarmes form a troupe that is as zany as it is endearing. Combining slapstick humour with acrobatics, they take the audience on an adventure full of surprises. A funny, inventive and fast-paced show, where team spirit turns every situation into an unforgettable moment.


Under the Blue Sky – 8.30 pm
Genre: Circus, Chinese pole
Combining Chinese pole, theatre and dance, Sous le ciel bleu (under the Blue Sky) explores memory and its role in shaping our identity. Through a universal, visual language, the show lends new depth to seemingly trivial memories. Designed for the street, it invites the audience to participate actively, making each performance a vibrant, accessible and shared experience.

The Cannon Man – 5.30 pm
Genre: Live performance and drama
An ordinary worker finds himself thrust into an unexpected role: human cannonball. Through a mix of clumsiness, humour and self-discovery, he attempts to defy gravity… and the gaze of the audience. This burlesque and touching fable subtly explores life’s unexpected twists and turns, transforming failure into an adventure that is as funny as it is deeply human.


VOGOT – 8:30 p.m.
Genre: Circus – Aerial acrobatics
V.O.G.O.T.
Through a unique form of physical expression blending dance and acrobatic lifts, V.O.G.O.T. explores the five senses and the emotions that run through them. Amidst moments of harmony and tension, a duo delivers an intense performance in which trust and communication are paramount. A show that is both physical and poetic, delving into the heart of human relationships.
WEDNESDAY 12th AUGUST

Djada – 5 pm
Genre : Bal Folk
A festive and friendly occasion set to the rhythm of folk dances. Join Dajda and Chantal for a beginner’s session open to all, before throwing yourselves into a dance party with no boundaries. Two hours (2pm–4pm) to learn, share and fully enjoy the collective energy of dance.
Festival Cinema – 8.30 pm
Genre: Film – Documentary
To mark its 10th anniversary, the festival looks back on a decade of shared moments through a sensitive and immersive documentary. Directed by Domenico and Denise, it traces the festival’s history through images, capturing the energy, the encounters and the vibrancy that have defined it since its inception.

THURSDAY 13th AUGUST

In the Shadow of the Birds – 5.30 pm
Genre: Poetic circus duo
A street acrobatics duo, L’Ombre des Oiseaux (the shadow of the birds) features two men poised between balance and imbalance, set against the backdrop of a dance hall that gradually begins to tilt. Through humour, vertigo and camaraderie, they learn to coexist in a fragile paradise where everything could come crashing down at any moment.


Tutti Fruti – 8.30 pm
Genre: Extreme poetry and frenetic circus
Four eccentric characters celebrate the joy of life in a world marked by violence, through a biting satire of power dynamics and domination. Combining juggling, object manipulation and boundless energy, they bring to life a burlesque world driven by humour that is both scathing and deeply liberating.
FRIDAY 14th AUGUST

To round off this week of shows, meet the artists on stage. Each of them will be presenting their act, but the urban dance and clown trainees will also be sharing what they’ve learnt over the week!


La Bastringue – 7.30 pm
Genre: Entertainment – Traditional funfair
Offbeat attractions, whimsical fairground performers and DIY machines: the home-made funfair shakes up the senses and wakes up the wasteland!
Between games, challenges and illusions, come and awaken the gamer in you!
Boom Boom Boat – 8:30pm
Genre : Concert – DJ Set – Show
Boom Boom Boat is a performative and interactive DJ set where the audience is invited to dress up and take to the stage for some wild lip-syncing. With a mix of choreographed and theatrical surprises, the show turns into a proper collective party, filled with dancing, laughter and a high-energy atmosphere.

In a boxing ring that has become a metaphor for life, Judith confronts her alcohol addiction and struggles to free herself from her dependencies. An intimate and powerful account of the battle against oneself and the desire to live without pretence.
WEDNESDAY 12th AUGUST

MUTA is a visual journey blending theatre, dance and acrobatics, which explores human duality and the link between ancestral roots and contemporary identities through a play of light, shadow and transformation.

And above all, don’t forget: what happens during the adult sessions stays between adults!
